IT Support Engineer

Maintain and provide technological technical support to the organization's users, ensuring the proper functioning of software systems, computer equipment, and data networks; document incidents and best support practices; control the department's equipment inventory; and perform inspections in residences and in the club's various areas.

REQUIRED STUDIES/EDUCATION:

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field.

Verifiable experience in technical support, problem resolution, and system maintenance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND APTITUDES:

• Knowledge in the maintenance of computer equipment and Windows and macOS operating systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Office 365. Desirable knowledge of point-of-sale, audio, and video systems.

• Experience in installing software, hardware, and peripherals.

• Intermediate knowledge of networks (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, topologies, and protocols).

• Good communication and English language skills to interact with members, guests, and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform the installation and update of computer programs, computing equipment, and peripheral units.

2. Assist in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of computer equipment and systems.

3. Collaborate in the registration and tracking of technical support requests.

4. Provide support and assistance to members and owners in the installation, configuration, and use of computer equipment.

5. Train staff on the use of desktop computing tools.

6. Document department procedures and manuals.

7. Collaborate with the administration of departmental resources.
