Our client is a global company specializing in chemical material solutions and specialties such as polymers, colorants, and additives for plastics. To support its operations in Mexico, we are looking for a Technical Service Engineer.

The Position:

Reporting to the Technical Service Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Executing activities focused on technical service, supporting strategic customer growth plans through the development of solutions and applications.
• Providing support for the management and administration of market claims.
• Conducting technical visits with clients for tests, advice, training, and handling claims.
• Preparing technical reports of tests with clients.
• Providing technical advice on product processing to clients. Delivering technical training to clients on products.
• Leading product development projects in conjunction with clients.
• Providing feedback to the Design and Development department on product performance with clients. Reinforcing business relationships with global clients.
• Actively participating in meetings with teams from other regions to evaluate product performance and developments. Supporting the achievement of area KPIs.
• Translating technical requirements from clients.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or completed engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in technical service, serving manufacturing companies in the plastics and/or chemical sector.
• Knowledge of colorants, additives, and plastic processing methods.
• Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
• Intermediate conversational English is essential.
• Availability to travel.
