FUNCTIONAL SAFETY ENGINEER (FSE) - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

OBJECTIVE

Participate in the development and implementation of "Functional Safety" requirements aligned with the standard ISO 26262 and products developed by the company. Participate in the analysis of design requirements during the product development cycle, ensuring the functionality and security of products based on customer specifications.

ACTIONS

Analyze specifications and/or provided requirements for software development. Derive and/or decompose software requirements from system requirements and/or other considerations.

Define and document the product development process related to security according to ISO 26262. Train development teams on the application and understanding of the ISO 26262 standard. Actively participate in functional safety reviews and product audits related to functional safety. Includes reviewing documents for fault detection, reviewing the AMEF, validation plans, and failure calculations.

Define, develop, and establish priorities for eliminating or preventing defects related to product security during the product development phase (fault prevention)

Collaborate, initiate, and verify the mode of construction / process failure analysis (FMEA) related to safety issues.

Formulate checklists of "lessons learned" for qualified design inspections and processes regarding product security

Implement and/or organize independent controls that regulate series production to validate product security for use
