Project Engineer with Cybersecurity Knowledge

Job Description In the role of Project Engineer with Cybersecurity Knowledge at Netmask LATAM, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, and executing technological projects with a focus on information security. In your day-to-day activities, you will perform activity planning, milestone tracking, elaboration of technical documentation, and progress reports. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate cybersecurity solutions into electrical engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. You will also participate in risk identification, definition of security controls, and support in technical audits. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Aguascalientes, AGU.

Requirements

• Skills in project management, including Project Management and Project Planning, with the ability to coordinate teams and meet deadlines and budgets.
• Skills in Project Engineering, focused on the design, integration, and technical validation of solutions, especially in environments with cybersecurity requirements.
• Skills in Engineering, understanding electrical systems, automation, and industrial networks, valuing experience in safety and service continuity standards.
• Communication skills, both oral and written, to work with technical and non-technical teams, prepare clear reports, and present solutions to project stakeholders.
• University degree in Engineering (electrical, electronic, telecommunications, computer science, or related fields) and demonstrable knowledge in cybersecurity (regulations, technical controls, networks, systems). Previous experience in similar roles, cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP), experience with security tools, and intermediate or advanced English level will be valued.
