Junior Continuous Improvement and Digitization Engineer

At Fluidmaster, a global leader in plumbing solutions and manufacturing engineering, we are seeking a Junior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive, coordinate, and ensure the implementation of initiatives for continuous improvement, operational excellence, digitization, and cultural transformation within our organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Digitization and Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement applications, internal platforms, and automated workflows for the optimization of operational and administrative processes.
• Execution and Facilitation: Provide support in Kaizen events, continuous improvement projects, and process digitization plans.
• Operational Management: Manage area KPIs, the Daily Management System (DMS), and the recognition program.
• Training: Deliver training and coaching to personnel on Lean tools and culture.

Profile Requirements

• Education: Completed Engineering degree.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in areas of continuous improvement, operational excellence, or industrial engineering.
• Languages: Intermediate English.

Software and Digitization (Advanced):

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform: development and creation of custom applications with Power Apps, creation of internal platforms and user interfaces, and integration with databases (Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL).
• Advanced proficiency in Power Automate: automation of workflows, alerts, and routine processes between platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint, Word).
• Desirable knowledge in Power BI for the integration of analytical dashboards within the developed applications.

Technical Knowledge:

• Lean Manufacturing: Basic knowledge in 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, VSM, Standard Work, and Process Mapping.
• Industrial Engineering: Line balancing, time and motion studies, capacity calculation, and work cell design.
