HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

OBJECTIVE:

Design new electronic and mechatronic products focused on the automotive industry according to client and internal requirements.

Participate actively in the analysis and generation of requirements, technical reviews internally/externally, definition and creation of test plans and their execution.

Ensure compliance with automotive standards, execute cost reduction analyses and proposals.

Collaborate effectively interdisciplinarily locally and internationally with Kostal group entities, as well as interact with clients.

Serve as project leader. Participate in the processes of quoting new products and presenting proposals to clients.

Provide support to validation groups, quality, manufacturing, logistics, etc.

ACTIONS:

1 Release new designs (information creation) for series production.

2 Verify that the HW design meets Kostal and client-defined HW requirements.

3 Design digital and analog electric circuits.

4 Create and modify AMEF design.

5 Generate/modify information in CIM DATA BASE, STAGES, and track deliverables in the company's product lifecycle system.

6 Analyze specifications and/or requirements provided by clients for new or existing HW development (DOORS).

7 Coordinate PCB and/or document design changes and evaluate their impact on engineering changes. Analysis of feasibility and optimal implementation definitions.

8 Generate a mathematical model for validating HW development using WCCA.

9 Develop validation tests for new designs.

10 Select tools for analyzing existing products (e.g., CANoe panels, PSPICE, MATHCAD).

11 Track and close 8D's related to HW and PCB design.

12 Make changes in HW design based on validation test results
