Product Development Engineer

A global automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer to drive new product development and support engineering changes for current production programs. This role is highly customer-facing and plays a critical part in designing robust, manufacturable products while representing engineering on customer vehicle teams. What you will do: Lead new product development from concept to production. Support design verification and validation activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure successful product launches. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal partners. Provide technical expertise and guidance to support engineering changes for current production programs. What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 8+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA. Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.
