Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer – Cd. Obregón, Sonora

Job Objective:

To supervise and ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety standards during the execution of mechanical construction projects and works, verifying that the activities performed meet the established requirements and maintaining adequate control and monitoring of quality documentation and field records.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise in the field the correct execution of mechanical construction works.
• Verify compliance with the technical specifications, procedures, and quality standards established for the projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and guidelines during the execution of the works.
• Interpret plans and technical documentation to verify that the works are carried out according to the design and established specifications.
• Perform and/or supervise leak tests on mechanical installations and systems.
• Verify the correct execution of works related to piping, equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Apply quality tools and techniques for the identification, monitoring, and prevention of deviations.
• Prepare, update, and maintain construction logs and quality records.
• Conduct quality inspections and field walks.
• Maintain constant communication with the involved departments to ensure the fulfillment of quality, safety, and construction execution objectives.

Required Profile:

Education: Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in technical specifications, quality, and safety standards, preferably in the supervision of mechanical construction and field works.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in driving automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Availability for field work and travel according to project needs.
