Applications Engineer

Applications Engineer An Applications Engineer provides technical sales support for all Hexagon product applications spanning metrology, demonstration, functionality, and performance. Additionally, are responsible for carrying out contract programming and product training tasks. All activities must be performed with a strong focus on the customer to meet or exceed our customers' expectations. Key Responsibilities Conduct basic hardware and software product demonstrations showcasing technical features and capabilities of Hexagon products. Provide technical support to customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain product knowledge and training materials. Develop and deliver customized product training sessions for customers. Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product enhancements and new feature development. Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to inform product roadmap decisions. Ensure compliance with Hexagon's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role. Strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and product lifecycle management (PLM) concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
