Civil Engineer Substations

At EOSOL we are looking for a CIVIL ENGINEER FOR SUBSTATIONS who will participate in the development of the civil engineering for electrical substation projects, ensuring the design and technical documentation of the necessary civil works for the correct implementation of equipment and installations, in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Requirements:

• Completed Civil Engineering degree.
• Experience in civil engineering applied to substations, not solely in construction or general civil works.
• Experience in the design of foundations, structures, and civil works associated with substations.
• Knowledge of conceptual, basic, and/or detailed engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret multidisciplinary technical plans and documentation.
• Knowledge of regulations and design criteria applicable to electrical and infrastructure projects.
• Desirable experience in Medium, High, and/or Extra High Voltage projects.
• Desirable proficiency in BIM tools and/or structural calculation software.

Functions:

• Develop the civil engineering for electrical substations in conceptual, basic, and/or detailed stages.
• Design and review foundations for electrical equipment, structures, and supports.
• Develop layout plans, foundations, duct banks, drainage systems, roadways, and associated civil works.
• Perform and/or review calculation reports and technical documentation for the civil discipline.
• Coordinate civil engineering with the electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Review interferences and compatibility between plans and models from different disciplines.
• Prepare technical specifications, design criteria, and engineering documents.
• Review technical documentation from suppliers and ensure its compatibility with the civil design.
• Participate in the preparation and review of engineering deliverables for clients.
