Plant Design Engineer / Fire Prevention

BFAecosistema, a recruitment and selection company, is looking for a candidate for an Engineering Consultancy Company based in Castenaso for a position as:

Plant Design Engineer / Fire Prevention

The resource will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects of high technical content, overseeing activities from the design phase up to support during the execution of works, interacting with clients, professionals, companies, and competent authorities.

Main Activities:

The resource will be primarily responsible for:

• design and sizing of mechanical, electrical, and special systems;
• preparation of graphic documents, technical reports, functional diagrams, specifications, and Bills of Quantities;
• design and verification of fire prevention solutions in accordance with current regulations and the Fire Prevention Code;
• preparation of fire prevention applications, SCIA (Certified Start of Activity), expert opinions, technical reports, and documentation for the Fire Brigade;
• analysis and application of Vertical Technical Rules (RTV);
• coordination with other design disciplines for the integration of system and fire prevention aspects;
• management of technical relationships with public bodies and Fire Brigade Commands;
• verification of regulatory compliance of projects;
• Site Supervision during the execution phases;
• collaboration with designers and project managers;
• technical client management during the various phases of the assignment.

Requirements:

• Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Building Engineering, Architecture or equivalent qualification;
• at least 5 years of experience in plant design and/or fire prevention design;
• registration with the relevant professional register, where required;
• qualification as a fire prevention professional, registered in the lists of the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to D.M. August 5, 2011 and subsequent amendments;
• knowledge of sector technical regulations (UNI, CEI, fire prevention regulations, D.Lgs. 81/08, etc.);
• in-depth knowledge of the Fire Prevention Code and RTVs;
• good command of AutoCAD and main plant design and calculation software (Edilclima or equivalent software);
• good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• aptitude for working in multidisciplinary teams;
• driver's license B and availability for travel.

Preferential qualifications:

• experience in BIM environment design
• experience or specific training in Fire Safety Engineering (FSE)
• knowledge of the English language, written and spoken
• experience in autonomous project management and direct interaction with clients and authorities.

Employment Level: 3rd

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): 40,000 - 45,000 euros

Candidates operating as self-employed professionals (P.IVA) will also be considered.
