Pre-Sales Engineer

Zenit Italia, to strengthen its Pre-Sales department, is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer.

Purpose:

• Actively contribute to Customer Management, ensuring timely responses to Customer technical requests, with the goal of transforming sales opportunities for products/services into orders.
• Support other Commercial Units from a technical standpoint, potentially coordinating with other ZIT departments, to ensure a timely and complete response to their needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales structure (SLS) during Customer visits requiring specific technical expertise.
• Actively contribute, coordinating with Sales (SLS), to the diffusion of the Zenit brand, by interfacing with the design offices in the sector.
• Manage Customer requests requiring technical selection, formulating the technical and economic Offer for the requested product/service, in compliance with their needs and expectations.
• Manage the technical aspects of the procedures necessary to participate in Tenders, in collaboration with the Tenders Service (GAR) and Pre Post Sales (PPS).

Operational Activities:

• Support Customer Service (CS) from a technical point of view in managing Customer orders and reviewing them.
• Provide technical training to Agents and/or Customers, according to the needs identified and agreed upon with Sales (SLS). Support the preparation of documentation for the stipulation of contracts/collaboration agreements.
• Collaborate regarding the development of the product range and potentially propose new products or product improvements through the “Product Opportunity” process.
• Attend trade fairs / industry events / commercial events for brand and product promotion when required.
• Support Customer Service (CS) from a technical point of view in the activity of managing Customer orders.

Required Skills:

• Degree in Environmental/Hydraulic Engineering or Secondary Diploma in Technical Subjects (Hydraulic/Chemical/Industrial).
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment and collection plants.
• Knowledge of CAD.

Remuneration Package:

• National Collective Labor Agreement: Metalworking Industry

• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): 30-35k
