In this position, you will lead and support high-impact continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse automation projects, and strategic operational transformations. You will collaborate with site managers and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement innovative solutions, and generate tangible business results.
This is a full-time, day shift position that requires engineering support across three locations:
- Castel San Giovanni (PC)
- Olgiate Comasco (CO)
- Novara (NO)
What we offer
We offer a competitive salary package with an indicative gross annual salary (RAL) between €35,000 and €42,000, commensurate with the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with European regulations on pay transparency and salary equity.
Additionally, the package includes a company car, an annual variable bonus, and meal vouchers.
How you will make a difference
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and service quality
- Coordinating the implementation and optimization of automation solutions in warehouse activities
- Supporting the execution of strategic projects and operational transformation initiatives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues
- Analyzing data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and promote a culture of innovation and operational excellence
What you will bring to GXO
- Experience in continuous improvement projects, industrial engineering, automation, or process optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach and a results-oriented mindset
- Experience in project management and coordinating multi-functional stakeholders.
- Strong interest in innovation, automation, and operational excellence
- A proactive and hands-on approach, combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills in international contexts
