Process Engineer

For an important client company in the metal-mechanical sector, we are looking for a PROCESS ENGINEER. The figure sought (which will have to operate both in the office and in a production environment) develops the specific process based on customer needs and supports other departments to ensure that production processes function correctly in terms of safety, quality, and productivity; collaborates with data collection and analysis, employee training, project documentation review and modification. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Study the feasibility of components, define suitable technologies and calculate processing times for cost calculation • Programming machines or robots, setting and testing process parameters, execution of validation tests according to the NPI plan • Launching and validating new technologies and equipment • Troubleshooting machine problems and supporting RCA • Analyze process data, equipment, and materials to determine efficient production methods and process improvements according to the 6S method and standard RCA tools • Monitor processes continuously for improvements and/or continuous changes • Coordinate activities of support personnel and production staff to resolve process issues • Assist in training operators on awareness, monitoring, and control of processes • Provide process data as recommended for standard or experimental products • Research equipment to identify the most appropriate solutions focusing on costs, flexibility, and efficiency • After 6-12 months, the candidate will be required to provide technical support Gemba with extra availability and weekend availability COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications • Excellent mathematical and programming skills for robots/machines • Experience with SolidWorks/CAD CAM/ABB Rapid/Minitab/PowerBi/Excel preferred • Experience with SPC, 6S, and Lean Manufacturing tools • Ability to analyze designs, manuals, material specifications, and processes to design or improve a production method It offers direct entry into the company and commensurate job placement based on the candidate's experience.
