In the field of structural engineering, the firm deals with the design, calculation, and execution of complex structures in the civil and building sectors. Projects are managed from the initial design idea, through static and constructive design, to tender, execution, and site supervision.

To strengthen the team at our Bolzano office, we are looking for a motivated and technically interested individual to join us as a Structural Civil Engineer (f/m/d).

STRUCTURAL CIVIL ENGINEER (F/M/D)

DUTIES

In this varied and stimulating role, you will be responsible for complex projects in civil and structural engineering, overseeing them throughout their entire development cycle.

You will develop static and constructive solutions, perform calculations and verifications, and ensure that structures are designed safely, economically, and durably. You will collaborate closely with architects, clients, internal technical departments, authorities, and construction companies.

Depending on your professional experience, you will either take autonomous responsibility for individual projects or be gradually guided towards complete project management. The position is suitable for both experienced civil engineers and motivated recent graduates looking to develop in the field of statics and structural design.

Below are the main activities in detail:

• Execution of static calculations and development of cost-effective structural solutions in the field of construction and civil engineering
• Design and dimensioning of structures in reinforced concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and other materials
• Management of new construction, renovation, extension, and refurbishment projects
• Assessment of existing structures and development of appropriate consolidation and refurbishment solutions
• Coordination of structural design with architects, clients, specialist designers, and authorities
• Coordination and verification of documents related to formwork, reinforcement, construction details, and execution plans
• Continuous project support, from preliminary design to tender and award, through to construction execution
• Preparation of technical reports, tender documentation, and bases for quantity and cost calculations
• Technical support during construction, including site inspections, project verification, and resolution of technical issues
• Monitoring of timelines, quality, and project objectives, as well as documentation of technical decisions
• Contribution to the development of internal standards, processes, and digital design methods
• Active technical exchange within the team and support for less experienced colleagues

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in structural design, statics, or structural engineering
• Alternatively, equivalent technical training with relevant qualifications
• First professional experience in static calculations and constructive design is an advantage; motivated recent graduates are also welcome
• Good understanding of structural behavior, statics, and constructive correlations
• Proficiency in major structural calculation and CAD software, as well as the MS Office suite
• Knowledge in the design of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, or masonry structures is an advantage
• Interest in BIM, digital design methods, and modern technical solutions
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work method
• High attention to quality, precision, and sense of responsibility
• Team player with good communication skills and an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Good knowledge of German and Italian; further language skills are an advantage

The expected gross annual salary for this position ranges from €50,000 to €65,000, depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience. The indicated amount refers to the basic fixed salary, excluding any variable components such as performance bonuses, bonuses, or benefits. For particularly qualified candidates, the possibility of a higher salary is expressly provided.
