Infrastructure Specialist - Calibration Industry

As a member of the North American IT Infrastructure Department, your main goals are to implement and ensure the technical infrastructure of the information systems while complying with the constraints, needs, and IT policies of the organization. This includes everything from physical/virtual servers, networks, and data centers to cloud services and security measures, while ensuring that the systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. You will also take part in the evolution of the information system and the management of IT projects.

On a daily basis, you will work within a team of 3–4 members, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of the organization's North American technology infrastructure. Managing system obsolescence and ensuring cybersecurity are key priorities.

• Windows Server + Windows 8/10/11
• VMware vSphere + Hyper-V

• Databases: SQL Server
• Collaborative tool: Office 365
• Network: Azure, Active Directory, Domains, LAN, WAN, Vlans, Xen-server, Firewall, Meraki, Fortinet, NAS, GPOs, RMM, Automation, FSRM
• Backups: Druva – Veeam
• Miscellaneous: Vendor management, Project management, Scripting, Mitel Phone system, Logitech Rally system, IoT, Jira,
• Industry specific: Calibration, Metcal, surecal, calexec, NI drivers, etc.
• Communication skills. Language: English and Spanish fluent. French is a plus.
• Availability to travel, with a valid visa and passport.

Main tasks:

• Maintain the architecture of the North American infrastructure.
• Ensure the monitoring, documentation, and reporting of the information system and its security.
• Define infrastructure policies in collaboration with the Infrastructure Manager.
• Support the integration of newly acquired entities into the organization's information systems.
• Analyze and document business and technical needs for IT projects.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical solutions (systems/network/security).
• Participate in the integration of technical solutions (systems/network/security) in coordination with the IT department.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues (level 2/3).
• Manage documentation within your scope, especially regarding architecture and governance rules.
• Ensure consistent reporting of your activities.
