Infrastructure Engineer

Position: Infrastructure Engineer Job Description: The Infrastructure Engineer is a member of the Arrow Electronics Global Warehouse Infrastructure Services team. The Infrastructure Engineer implements and improves support for mission critical hardware and software to ensure the reliability and sustainability of the warehouse and Integration Center production networks. This is an internal customer-facing role which requires excellent prioritization, responsiveness, and customer service, as well as strong technical skills. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse and Integration Center infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new solutions to improve performance and reliability. This role will also involve working closely with other teams, including IT operations, software development, and business stakeholders, to ensure that the infrastructure meets the needs of the business. Responsibilities: * Implement, maintain, and improve support for mission-critical hardware and software in warehouse and Integration Center production networks. * Ensure the reliability, sustainability, and performance of the warehouse and Integration Center production networks. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner. * Deploy and configure new hardware and software solutions. * Monitor network performance and identify potential issues. * Collaborate with internal customers, IT operations, software development, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions. * Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices. * Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure. * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, network administration, or systems administration. * Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls). * Experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux). * Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. * Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. * Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
