The Role
We're seeking an Informix Database Administrator to manage and optimise Informix databases supporting critical registry systems. This Sydney-based role is ideal for a DBA with experience in secure, compliance-driven environments.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Informix databases in a mission-critical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens with an active Baseline clearance.

The Role

You'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Informix databases in a mission-critical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Informix databases.
- Perform tuning, backup, recovery, and security hardening.
- Monitor database performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams.
- Proven experience as an Informix DBA in enterprise environments.
- Strong skills in database tuning, backup/recovery, and security.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation.
- Australian Citizenship with Baseline clearance.
- Support a nationally significant government-aligned programme.
