Information Security Officer

INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER

Full-time 38.5 hours per week

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

As Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for building, implementing, and monitoring the information security management system, taking into account regulatory requirements. You will identify and evaluate security risks, define measures, and ensure employee sensitization to protect sensitive data.

Your TASKS

* Development, implementation, revision, and updating of information security guidelines/procedures and control of their compliance
* Conducting risk assessments and security audits, as well as advising on the creation of information security strategies and guidelines
* Steering and coordinating internal information security processes and participating in their monitoring
* Participating in the development and revision of emergency plans
* Leading the ISIRT (Information Security Incident Response Team) and coordinating information security incidents

Your QUALIFICATIONS

* Relevant professional experience of at least 3 years and secure German and English language skills
* Completed education in the fields: Information, Information Security, IT-Security, Cyber Security or Business Informatics
* Very good knowledge of common standards (e.g. 27001 ff, BSI-Grundschutz), laws, and regulations
* Secure mastery of methods and tools for risk analysis and security audits in the field of information security
* Experience with risk management and security audits, a meticulous and thorough working style, as well as high stress tolerance and learning ability
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly
