Information Technology - Programming Lecturer (ICT)

Contract Opportunity: Programming Lecturer (ICT) Bachelor of Applied Computing Technologies – School of IT, Whitecliffe We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Programming Lecturer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software developer or educator who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of computing professionals. You will deliver engaging, practical teaching that equips students with real-world software development skills, problem-solving techniques, and critical thinking abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum content, assessing student learning outcomes, and contributing to the growth and development of the School of IT. This is a unique opportunity to share your expertise and experience with our students, while also being part of a dynamic and innovative team. We are looking for someone who has a strong passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and at least 2 years of experience in software development or education, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will also have experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, and/or JavaScript, and be familiar with Agile methodologies, version control systems like Git, and cloud-based platforms like AWS or Azure.
