Information Security Specialist (m/w/d)

An esteemed client, part of a renowned corporate group, is seeking an experienced employee to further develop information security at their location in Hannover.

As Information Security Specialist, you will report directly to the management and be responsible for developing IT security concepts according to BSI and ISO 27001. The further development of the ISMS will be one of your main tasks. In your function, you will be responsible for implementing regulatory requirements and can significantly influence processes.

Tasks

• Operation and further development of the ISMS – according to ISO 27001 and BSI standard
• Leadership of audits
• Conducting awareness training sessions
• Risk analysis and evaluation
• Reporting to management
• Closely working with the CISO of the parent company

Qualification

• Completed education as a computer scientist or completed study in (business) informatics, respectively, or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in information security management
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz)
• Self-reliant work style
• Excellent analytical skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Negotiation-proof German and good English skills
