Information Security Architect – Cloud Technology (w/m/d)

As a Security Architect at IONOS, you will work in an interdisciplinary team with a broad professional spectrum and shape the further development of our IONOS Cloud actively. You develop security solutions, coach development teams, and have a holistic view on how systems, processes, and security requirements can be implemented together. You drive AI transformation actively and know how AI-supported tools change the way we work and think about security.

Aufgabenbereich

• Security-Architektur & Design: You will contribute to the further development of our cloud security architecture, ensure uniform implementation of existing security guidelines across team boundaries, and integrate Security-as-Code in CI/CD pipelines.
• Coaching & Beratung: You will lead workshops and training sessions for development teams, promote a lived security culture, and advise on compliance requirements (ISO 27001, DSGVO, BSI-C5).
• You accompany teams in the safe introduction of AI tools, sensitize new attack surfaces like prompt injection or insecure AI pipelines, and translate technical information into clear recommendations for different stakeholders.
• Implementierung & Zusammenarbeit: You will work closely with development and security teams, review code and infrastructure configurations, and develop frameworks that are immediately applicable in projects.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable. Several years of experience in IT security in software development, ideally in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops as well as an analytical, hands-on working style.
• You use AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude routinely in your daily work.
• Fluent German and English
