Your Title: Information Experience Senior Manager Job Location: Christchurch, New Zealand Our Department: Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT) Are you interested in building world-class customer experience, using cutting-edge technology, and ensuring our customers can seamlessly operate our industry-leading solutions? What You Will Do We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Customer Experience team. As the custodian of Information Experience, you will possess a deep understanding of information architecture, content strategy, and user experience principles. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive information experience strategy across all customer touchpoints, ensuring that our customers can easily access and understand the information they need to be successful. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute the Information Experience strategy, aligning with overall customer experience goals and business objectives. * Lead and mentor a team of content strategists, information architects, and UX writers. * Conduct user research and analysis to understand customer needs and information-seeking behaviors. * Define and maintain information architecture standards, including content organization, navigation, and taxonomy. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, support) to ensure a consistent and integrated information experience across all channels. * Oversee content creation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance. * Monitor and analyze information experience performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information experience, content strategy, and user experience. * Manage budget and resources for the Information Experience team. What Skills You Will Have * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Science, UX, Communications). * 8+ years of experience in information architecture, content strategy, or user experience, with a focus on information experience. * 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team. * Deep understanding of information architecture principles, content strategy methodologies, and user experience best practices. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. * Experience with user research and testing methodologies. * Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and other relevant tools. * Experience working in an Agile environment. * Experience in the technology or construction industry is a plus.
