Position : Nurse in an Expanded Role

Location : CLSC de Parent (9 rue Hôtel de Ville, Parent, Québec G0X 3P0)

Term : September 22 to October 14, 2025

Schedule : Day 7h30 to 16h, with evening/night shift

Hourly rate : $62/hour

A free accommodation is provided.

Travel expenses are reimbursed

We are looking for a nurse in an expanded role to join our team at the CLSC de Parent in Mauricie-et-centre-du-québec.

This position requires attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage complex situations with competence and compassion.

Mission :

• Complete clinical evaluation of users (of all ages), often to allow the doctor to make a diagnosis at a distance.
• Administration of primary care and interventions according to therapeutic guidelines (multiple collective prescriptions).
• Management of 24/7 emergencies, triage, pediatric, obstetric, adult, and geriatric urgent care.
• Promotion of health and involvement in community programs: vaccines, prenatal/infant follow-up, school health, ITSS, tuberculosis, etc.
• Sometimes, travel to see patients (isolated territories, etc.).
• Connected administrative tasks at the CLSC (local training, shift management, etc.).

Requirements

• Diploma in nursing sciences and valid practice permit.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or medical setting is strongly desired.
• Knowledge of pediatric care and experience in the field of care for the elderly or individuals with dementia is an asset.
• Valid RCR
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of care for patients.
