Nurse in Legal Psychiatry for Campbellton - New Brunswick

Location: Campbellton, NB

Location: Nursing Care ~ Restigouche Hospital ~ Restigouche

Start Date: As early as August

End Date: Permanent full-time

Schedule: Rotation (Relay of 8 or 12 hours. Work schedule may change according to operational needs.)

Languages: French and English, bilingual essential

Travel and accommodation: Not covered.

Bonus: Up to $25,000 upon signing the contract

Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year

Work location: In-person

We are looking for a nurse or clinical nurse specialized in Legal Psychiatry - Community Reinsertion for the Restigouche Hospital.

Your main mission will be to provide comprehensive nursing care to meet the individual needs of patients. Actively participate in initiatives to improve patient quality and safety.

Requirements:

• Registration with the New Brunswick Association of Nurses;
• Valid certificate in immediate care in resuscitation (SIR);
• Certificate in prevention and management of suicidal behaviors in a psychiatric setting or obtain it within the set deadlines;
• Advanced Interventions Non-Violent (CPI) training – Techniques or commit to following the training according to the set deadlines;
• Leadership qualities, good judgment, decision-making skills, and adaptability;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
• Physical ability to perform assigned work;
• Good work record (productivity and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, the management philosophy of the Network, and organizational values;
• Respect for confidentiality rules of the Vitality Health Network.
