Temporary mandate with possibility of extension

About the mandate :

Services SFT is looking for a(n) Inurse to fill a mandate in Surgery in the city of Maria in Gaspésie. This job offers a stimulating, human, and quality-focused work environment.

Main responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital environment.
• Evaluate patients' medical and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure effective communication with families regarding patients' health status and needs.
• Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care.
• Train and supervise auxiliary personnel, if necessary.

Requirements :

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Nursing.
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des Infirmières et Infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
• Working with pediatric clients is mandatory
• The job mainly concerns daytime shifts as a nurse, but six shifts are as an assistant nurse-chief (ASI).
• Prior experience with clients of this unit is required, particularly in post-op (surgery), pediatrics, pediatric psychiatry, palliative care, and general medicine.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Sense of organization, professionalism, and autonomy.
