The state-qualified nurse takes care of maintaining, improving the health status and autonomy of residents by providing them with care. They intervene in preventive, curative, or emergency situations. They supervise the teams of caregivers and AMPs in the realization of care. The state-qualified nurse shows professional discretion for all facts, information, or documents they have become aware of during the exercise of their functions. Below is a non-exhaustive list of missions: Activities related to the realization of care and the care of residents: - The IDE performs care and procedures aimed at ensuring the hygiene of the person and their environment. As such, the nurse watches and participates in the good realization of essential daily acts (getting up/going to bed, toilets, meals...) - The IDE realizes resident care on prescription and takes medical appointments. Furthermore, they realize a nursing diagnosis, take initiatives for associated care and organize its implementation (daily distribution of medications, wound dressings, injections, surveillance...) - The IDE manages and informs emergency medical situations in the establishment in line with instructions and health framework, the coordinating doctor and as needed with rescue services. - The IDE takes knowledge of transmissions and completes them in Netsoins, as well as in medical liaison notebooks. Activities related to organization and management of care: - Ensure the management of treatment orders: faxing prescriptions, receiving and verifying treatments, and storing them in the infirmary + managing medication stocks. - Responsible for organizing and maintaining the hygiene of the infirmary on their floor. They ensure the surveillance of the proper functioning of medical equipment: blood pressure monitor, defibrillator, lift-person, weight-person... + manage stock of medical supplies (bandages, compresses...) - Ensure the management of resident medical records: updating, classifying documents related to the health status of the resident: consultation reports, hospitalization reports... Supervising care teams: - Coordinates and organizes care performed by caregivers and AMPs in accordance with service priorities and manages personnel planning in the absence of direction. - Counsels and accompanies caregivers in the realization of patient care and watches over the good application of protocols in hygiene and safety. Activities related to the role of reference: - The IDE ensures the reference for 1 to 2 residents and is constantly exchanging with family, organizing times for exchanges to develop a personalized accompaniment project and thus manage the activity schedule of the resident according to their well-being. Activities related to social life: - The IDE regularly proposes individualized times for residents to ensure their daily well-being. - The IDE may, depending on availability, participate in workshops and individual/group activities as well as outings. They may be asked to participate in stays. Institutional life: - The IDE participates in institutional meetings: team meetings, training sessions, summaries, quality approach, practice analysis... - The IDE respects all procedures and protocols regarding hygiene, care, and safety. - The IDE watches over the respect by residents of procedures and protocols regarding hygiene, care, and safety that concern them.
