Contribute to patient rehabilitation in oncology at a compassionate establishment.
1. Administration of treatments and technical care
Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other anticancer treatments, respecting specific protocols.
Ensure the surveillance of side effects and anticipate complications (nausea, aplasia, mucites, pain, etc.).
Place and monitor central venous lines (PAC, catheters) and manage infusions.
Perform supportive care: blood transfusions, hydration, pain management, palliative care.
2. Clinical surveillance and follow-up of patients
Evaluate the patient's overall condition by monitoring vital signs and disease progression.
Detect and manage treatment-related complications (medication toxicity, infections, thromboses…).
3. Psychological support and aid relationship
4. Therapeutic education and prevention
Explain treatments and their side effects to help patients better manage their care journey.
Sensitize patients to the importance of supportive care (nutrition, fatigue management, adapted physical activity).
Inform about post-treatment care and medical follow-up after remission.
5. Palliative care accompaniment
Ensure patient comfort and pain management at end-of-life.
Accompany the patient and their loved ones in the palliative care journey and acceptance of the disease.
Collaborate with specialized palliative care teams to adapt treatments and improve quality of life.
