This is the heart of the job, ensuring the safety and health of the resident on a daily basis.
- Clinical Evaluation and Surveillance : Perform the clinical examination of the resident (taking vital signs, evaluating pain, skin condition) and detect any change in the state of health.
- Treatment Management : Prepare, distribute, and ensure the taking of medications; manage pillboxes and pharmacy stocks.
- Technical Care : Perform wound dressings (scars, ulcers), blood draws, injections, infusions, and care for stoma or suction tubes.
- Urgent Response : Identify critical situations and administer first aid according to emergency protocols before the doctor or rescue services arrive.
