Mission

The Industrial Supplier Quality function is part of the department « Industrial Performance & HSE ». The incumbent reports to the « Suppliers Quality & Performance Leader » and works in cross-functional support with the « Industrial Quality » teams from different production sites.

He/She collaborates closely with the industrial quality control team as well as other operational departments of the company.

Responsibilities

To ensure the quality of suppliers from the selection phase to performance evaluation, with objectives including:

To strengthen the involvement of quality in supplier selection phases.
To reduce non-quality among suppliers.
To ensure better control over supplier risks.
To improve management and relationship with suppliers.
To define, in collaboration with the Methods, Design, and Purchasing teams, technical specifications and quality requirements for suppliers.
To conduct supplier audits according to the established plan and forecasts.
To deploy quality requirements defined by the company to identified suppliers.
To validate and qualify suppliers via internal processes such as « Supplier Site Approval » and « Supplier Process/Production Qualification ».
To participate in upstream supplier selection phases, providing a synthesis of existing knowledge, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation actions.
To maintain a shared risk map for suppliers with Purchasing.
