Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic Millwright to join our Maintenance team. As an Industrial Mechanic Millwright, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and making repairs as needed. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make repairs as needed • Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision • Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time • Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and efficiency. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset • 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision • Certification as a Millwright or equivalent required.
