Please apply directly to this website >>> https://jobs.fillarole.ca/job-board/jobs/117/industrial-machinery-maintenance-mechanic-noc-72400-manufacturing/surrey-bc Job Duties: • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures • Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools • Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, winches, and pulleys, to move equipment and machinery • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, cleaning, and inspecting equipment and machinery • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery malfunctions • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations • Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to share knowledge and best practices • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in machinery maintenance and repair techniques • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with hazardous materials • Work in a team environment with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction • Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship programs to develop skills and knowledge • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
