Job description
Main tasks:
- Independently perform technical work within the framework of general guidelines;
- Primary responsibility for the production facilities and manufacturing processes in the responsible production area;
- Integration and continuous maintenance of FMEA and risk assessments during series production.
- Transfer of production facilities and manufacturing processes from the project team and the industrialization functions, taking into account defined key performance indicators (KPIs), quality parameters, and cost targets;
- Planning and optimization of material flow within series production.
- Support in the technical optimization and further development of existing production facilities and manufacturing processes;
- Support and main contact for the project teams in processes;
- Production-side contact for customer communication with Supply Chain Management/Customer Service, Key Account Management, or customers;
- Planning, implementation, and support of plant and equipment overhauls in the series production environment;
- Change management for internal customers, especially the business units;
- Maintaining order and cleanliness, safety, environmental, and energy standards, and implementing the management system within the production area of responsibility;
- Ensuring all necessary regular product qualifications for the manufacture of regulated products in the automotive, industrial, and medical sectors within the framework of applicable regulations such as 21 CFR Part, 21 CFR Part, ISO, IATF, etc., when taking on and implementing series production projects.
Requirements:
- Completed technical studies (or technician/master craftsman) with extensive professional; experience and specialized knowledge,
- Sound knowledge of series production and/or industrialization of plastic products with regard to injection molding and assembly production, ideally in the regulated environment of automotive, industrial, or medical technology;
- Experience with FMEA, risk assessments, and their application in series production;
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines for automotive, industrial, or medical technology production;
- Experience in creating technical specifications and requirements;
- Knowledge of material flow planning and lean approaches in production;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Strong team and communication skills, as well as quick comprehension;
- Knowledge of project management, particularly in collaboration with project teams, production, purchasing, and quality assurance;
- Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic production environment with a high degree of initiative and a sense of responsibility;
- Fluent English skills (level B2);
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
