Industrial Electrician

For more than a decade, our client has built a reputation for delivering high-quality electrical and automation solutions across the industrial, manufacturing, commercial and rural sectors. Backed by over 40 years of industry expertise, they work on everything from production line upgrades and factory process control through to pumping systems, irrigation infrastructure, industrial breakdowns and automation projects across New Zealand.

The Opportunity

Based in Palmerston North, you'll work across a diverse client base including industrial processing plants, manufacturing facilities and rural operations throughout the Manawatū.

Your work will include:

• Industrial electrical maintenance and breakdown support
• Installation and commissioning of industrial electrical systems
• Fault finding across plant and production equipment
• Industrial controls and automation systems
• Working alongside experienced electricians on PLC, VSD and robotics projects
• Building trusted relationships with long-term customers

What We're Looking For

You'll be a practical electrician who enjoys industrial environments and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

You'll ideally have:

• Current NZ Electrical Registration and Practicing License
• Experience within industrial electrical maintenance or installations
• Exposure to industrial control systems (automation experience is advantageous)
• Strong fault-finding ability
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full NZ Driver License
• NZ Citizenship or unrestricted New Zealand working rights
