We develop with ivyclip a modern Hair-Accessory-Product with focus on Comfort, Design and innovative Materials. The Product is pending patent.

We would like to further develop it technically and aesthetically, particularly in the areas of Funktion, Formgestaltung and Design.

We are looking for an Industrial Designerin, who combines Product Design, Construction and Material Understanding.

Aufgaben

You will work on the Further Development of our Hair Clip – from Design Optimizations over Material Tests to Sprue Prototypes.

You will work closely with Sprue Prototyping Manufacturers and Production Partners.

Your tasks will include especially:

• Further Development of the Form, Ergonomics and Flexibility of the Hair Clip
• Analysis and Optimization of the Material Behavior (e.g. flexible Plastics / Elastomers)
• Development of new Geometries and Mechanisms for better Hold at maximum Comfort
• Collaboration with Sprue Prototyping Partners (DFM, Wall Thickness, Unmolding etc.)
• Creation of CAD Models and Iterations
• Development of Design Variants and new Product Lines
• Definition of Colors, Surfaces (CMF) and Material Aesthetics
• Support in Prototype Tests and Product Improvements

Qualifikation

• Studies in the field of Industrial Design / Product Design or comparable
• Experience with Plastic Products and Injection Molding
• Strong feeling for Form, Ergonomics and Lifestyle Product Design
• Experience with CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion, Rhino or similar Tools)
• Interest in Consumer Products / Accessories / Wearables
• Ideal experience with **flexible Materials or Elastic Structures

Nice to have**

• Experience with CMF (Color, Material, Finish)
• Experience with Accessories, Beauty Products or Wearables
• Experience with Prototyping (3D Print / Soft Tooling / Rapid Injection Molding)
