About the Role



We are looking for an experienced Indirect Material Buyer with expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of non-productive materials and services required by the different areas of the organization, optimizing costs, quality, and delivery times.



Responsibilities



  • Lead/support the strategic sourcing process – Sourcing Board, execution of global agreements including tenders, negotiations, selection/development of suppliers for indirect materials and services, as well as contract management.
  • Manage supplier relationships, supplier selection, negotiations, contractual terms and conditions, as well as their evaluation and monitoring.
  • Ensure that supplier onboarding, requisitions, and purchase orders (POs) are reviewed and executed in accordance with internal policies.
  • Contact suppliers to determine the delivery status of deliverables (ad hoc orders).
  • Evaluate and monitor contract performance after award to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine the need for changes.
  • Identify qualified suppliers and promote continuous quality improvement through the Supplier Evaluation procedure.
  • Develop a supplier strategy, creating tactical plans and performance metrics for each supplier or category.
  • Execute strategies to benefit business objectives.
  • Manage supply chain risks.
  • Work with the legal department on contractual risks.
  • Drive market analysis to reduce fluctuations.
  • Analyze industry conditions that affect costs or deliveries.
  • Support cost reduction objectives through negotiation, supplier consolidation, and expense control.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect material purchasing in the automotive or aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge in negotiation and supplier development.
  • SAP proficiency.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS.
  • Analytical, organizational, and results-oriented skills.
