Indirect Buyer (Procurement and Services)

IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY This role will be responsible for executing global indirect procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure an efficient supply of indirect materials and services for the Automotive industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES • Optimize the administrative management of purchase orders through the use of technological tools. • Control budgets and KPIs for the category, ensuring the achievement of savings and efficiency objectives. • Ensure availability and delivery of goods and services to meet business needs. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform procurement decisions. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Provide procurement support to other departments as needed. • Develop and maintain accurate records of procurement activities. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and improve efficiency. • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business and its needs, including market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.
