Are you passionate about Indian and fusion multi cuisine and love experimenting with global flavours? We're looking for a creative and skilled Fusion Indian Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and bring innovative dishes to life that blend traditional Indian cooking with contemporary global influences as we are expanding our variety of dishes and planning to expand our venue.

About Us:

We are a modern Indian restaurant committed to reimagining Indian cuisine through fusion with international ingredients and techniques. Our focus is on quality, creativity, and delivering unforgettable dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and execute a contemporary fusion menu inspired by Indian cuisine
2. Prepare high-quality dishes with attention to flavour, presentation, and consistency
3. Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
4. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management on seasonal menus and specials
5. Train and guide junior kitchen staff where required

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in Indian or continental fusion cuisine
2. Culinary qualifications (preferred but not essential with strong experience)
3. Deep knowledge of international and regional dishes
4. Creative approach to recipe development and food presentation
5. Excellent communication and team management skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Bonus Points:

1. Experience in Australian kitchens or with multicultural dining audiences
2. Familiarity with dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
3. Menu costing and inventory control experience
