Independent ASEAN Equities Analyst

Job Description Smartkarma is seeking for a senior independent analyst to build and scale comprehensive ASEAN equities coverage, with a particular focus on Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region. Experience delivering high-impact, data-driven research and bespoke client services. Research coverage will entail: Equity bottom-up analysis: company tear-sheets, channel checks, management-meeting takeaways Thematic commentary: economic & sectoral drivers across ASEAN markets Valuation and relative-value analysis: identifying winners and losers in the region. Key responsibilities include: Developing comprehensive equity research reports on ASEAN-listed companies Building and maintaining relationships with ASEAN-based corporate contacts Conducting company visits and meetings to gather insights and information Providing bespoke client services, including customized research and data-driven insights for clients.
