Inbetriebsetzer (m/w/d) for Battery-Driven Trains (BEMU)

As a commissioning engineer (m/w/d) for vehicle tests & commissioning, you will be part of an international team and accompany our modern battery-driven trains (BEMU) for our project with the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) from the first test to the final handover. For this, a high willingness to travel is required. You'll get to know the train from A to Z - and develop your skills further in the process. Whether electric or diesel-powered, you'll be working on cutting-edge technology. Your tasks will include: • Commissioning of battery-driven trains (BEMU) for vehicle tests & commissioning • Testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems • Collaboration with colleagues from various departments • Travel to different locations within Germany and abroad • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing project requirements • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Good communication skills in German and English • Familiarity with MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field • 2-5 years of professional experience in the field of commissioning and testing of vehicles or similar equipment • Certification as an electrician or mechatronic technician is advantageous but not required.
