Import & Export Logistics Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Import & Export Logistics Analyst to support the company's import and export operations, customs clearance coordination, and logistics management. This role will work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods while supporting the company's business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the complete import and export customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements.
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to monitor customs clearance progress and promptly resolve any issues that may arise.
• Evaluate, select, and manage logistics service providers, coordinating ocean, air, and ground transportation to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Track shipment status throughout the transportation process and verify shipping, customs, and logistics documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review logistics and customs-related expenses and assist with freight cost verification and settlement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and logistics partners while continuously improving logistics processes and optimizing overall transportation and customs costs.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Sales, and other internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of imported materials, exported equipment, and related goods in support of business operations and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in import/export operations, customs clearance coordination, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Good understanding of import and export procedures, customs clearance processes, international logistics operations, and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, and other shipping documents.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve logistics and customs-related issues efficiently.
• Basic English communication skills for reading, writing, and handling business correspondence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for data management and document verification.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and highly responsible.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in logistics operations within the industrial equipment, diesel engine, generator set (genset), construction machinery, heavy equipment, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
