Function

In this job as an Import Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our import processes run smoothly.

Tasks:

Monitoring import shipments: preparing customs documents, contacting inspection authorities, and clearing documents
Requesting and communicating instructions with customers to handle shipments correctly
Managing the shipment
Adding customs costs and ensuring correct administration
Communication with external parties, such as airlines and freight handlers
Collaborating with internal colleagues to ensure an efficient workflow
Maintaining contact with customs authorities for seamless clearance
Working accurately according to internal procedures and guidelines

Profile

For the position of Import Clerk, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

Experience in customs matters, air freight, or a strong willingness to learn this quickly
Good command of English and Dutch, French is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
In stressful situations, you maintain an overview and still work just as accurately
In a small team, you work collegially and closely together, but you can also manage your tasks independently

- A market-conform salary in PC226 between € 2850 - € 3500 gross (depending on experience)

- 20 vacation days + 6 ADV days (+ 3 extra sector days)

- Flexible working hours starting between 8 am - 10 am
