Purchasing Office Clerk

For a client company operating in the mechanical engineering sector, we are looking for a resource to be placed within the Purchasing Office, with a particular focus on managing the procurement of spare parts and materials necessary for the plant's operations.

You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager and with the heads of the production and operational departments, taking care of collecting internal needs, translating them into procurement requests, and consulting with technical referents for the correct identification of materials and spare parts.

Activities:

• Management of the procurement of spare parts, materials, and supplies necessary for the plant.
• Collection and analysis of requests from different departments.
• Consultation with department heads for the definition of technical specifications.
• Management of quotation requests and comparison between different suppliers.
• Issuance and management of purchase orders.
• Monitoring of delivery times and procurements.
• Collaboration with the Purchasing Manager and other company functions to ensure the operational continuity of the plant.

Requirements:

• Experience, even if brief, gained in purchasing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in mechanical engineering companies.
• Good ability to understand and manage requests of a technical nature.
• Organizational skills and attention to timelines.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different stakeholders.

Knowledge of mechanical or industrial components and spare parts is welcome.
