Air Freight Operations Employee to be placed within an organization operating in the international shipping and logistics sector, with the prospect of stable employment.

THE ROLE

The resource will be integrated into the operational area and will be responsible for managing air freight shipments, following activities from order acceptance to invoicing and handling any operational critical issues.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acceptance of transport orders and entry/issuance of the relevant orders;
• Management of relationships with suppliers and logistics partners;
• Confirmation of bookings and preparation/issuance of AWBs (Air Waybills);
• Customer service management with Italian and foreign clients and freight forwarders;
• Processing of quotations and management of invoicing activities;
• Monitoring shipment status and managing delays, anomalies, and irregularities;
• Coordination of information between clients, suppliers, forwarders, and internal departments.

The resource will manage multiple shipments simultaneously, monitoring their progress and intervening promptly in case of operational changes, anomalies, or emergencies.

REQUIREMENTS

Hard skills

• Previous experience in air operations, international shipping, or freight forwarding;
• Knowledge of the main air freight processes and AWB documentation;
• Ability to manage bookings, quotations, and invoicing;
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Good proficiency with main computer tools.

Soft skills

• Effective communication and customer orientation;
• Problem-solving and urgency management skills;
• Autonomy, reliability, and teamwork spirit;

CONTRACT, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL): Road Transport of Goods and Logistics – 3rd level;
• Contract: full-time, initial fixed-term contract with the possibility of stable employment;
• Compensation: starting from €1,900 gross per month;
• Working hours: Monday to Friday;
• Benefits: meal vouchers and professional training.
