Real Estate Agent (m/f/d) – Rental Focus | Working Student or Part-Time
Part Time
Entry Level
Job description
Why LPE Real Estate?
- You will be trained before you start. The first few weeks you will shadow, observe, and gradually take on tasks. Only when you are confident will you be given your own properties — not on the first day.
- You will get to know the market from the fastest-moving segment. Rentals are the area where you can quickly understand how real estate works: why one apartment rents out in three days and another in the same building takes six weeks.
- You will speak directly with clients. Interested parties, tenants, owners. You are the face of LPE on-site, not the voice in the background.
- You will have a dedicated point of contact. An agent from the team will mentor you, provide feedback, and take over when a case becomes more complex. Asking questions is not a sign of weakness here, but part of the job.
- We develop our agents ourselves. Those who learn and perform with us have prospects after graduation.
- You will work with software that doesn't exist elsewhere. Our proprietary system lpeOS maps processes for which other companies still use Excel sheets and paper folders.
What awaits you with us – Your Tasks
- You will organize the marketing of a unit. Coordinate and accompany photo shoots with our photographers, create the exposé, publish and update the listing. Our marketing team will support you with the exposé.
- You will handle interested parties. Review and pre-qualify inquiries, coordinate appointments, conduct viewings, and follow up. Even when a property receives forty inquiries.
- You will prepare tenant selection. Check documents for completeness, review credit checks, and provide your assessment of the applicants. The final decision will be made together.
- You will assist with property handovers and takeovers: Prepare protocols, record meter readings, document defects, hand over keys.
- You will keep the data clean. Every contact, every appointment, every status in the system. This sounds unglamorous, but it's the foundation for ensuring nothing gets lost here.
- You will support the agents. Prepare appointments, compile property documents, handle correspondence, follow up with interested parties and service providers. You will learn much of this incidentally — by observing how an experienced agent builds a case.
- You will take on back-office tasks. Maintain master data, digitize and file documents, document processes. The amount of this depends on the workload — we discuss it predictably every week.
What you should bring
- You approach people openly. Conducting a viewing with eight strangers should be something you are comfortable with. You don't have to be perfect at the start.
- You have a feel for people — or want to develop one. In tenant selection, creditworthiness isn't the only factor, and you will learn this judgment with us.
- You are well-organized. Multiple properties, appointments, and deadlines simultaneously: Those who lose track here also lose good tenants.
- You work reliably. Otherwise, interested parties stand in front of a locked door, and that costs us more with the owner than any mistake in the exposé.
- You ask rather than guess — with clients as well as within the team.
- You are enrolled or looking for a part-time position. The field of study is secondary; commercial or real estate management interest is helpful.
- You learn software quickly and think digitally.
You don't need prior experience in the real estate industry. We will teach you the trade.
What we offer you
- Onboarding. You will shadow, receive tasks gradually, and work from day one with someone you can ask anything.
- Tasks that will advance you. You won't be filing papers or making coffee, but doing work that means something on your resume and that you can explain in your next job interview.
- Prospects after graduation. Those who learn and perform with us get a future, not just a certificate.
- Personal development. We openly and regularly discuss where you want to develop — and we ensure you get the tasks and support to get you there.
- Living feedback culture. Feedback is the fastest tool we have to improve. That's why we give it immediately, not just once a year. This applies in both directions: You receive honest feedback — and we expect it from you just the same.
- Predictability during the semester. We coordinate lecture times and exam periods in advance, rather than making them a problem. Viewings are often in the late afternoon anyway.
- State-of-the-art equipment: Premium hardware, cloud-based tools, paperless.
- E-mobility included: internal e-car sharing for appointments and private errands.
