Real Estate Agent (m/f/d) – Rental Focus | Working Student or Part-Time

Part Time Entry Level

Job description

Why LPE Real Estate?

  • You will be trained before you start. In the first few weeks, you will shadow, observe, and gradually take on responsibilities. Only when you feel confident will you be assigned your own properties — not on the first day.
  • You will get to know the market in the fastest way possible. Rentals are the area where you can quickly understand how real estate works: why an apartment rents in three days and another in the same building doesn't for six weeks.
  • You will speak directly with clients. Prospective tenants, tenants, property owners. You are the face of LPE on-site, not a voice in the background.
  • You will have a dedicated point of contact. An agent from the team will mentor you, provide feedback, and step in when a case becomes more complex. Asking questions is not a sign of weakness here, but part of the job.
  • We develop our agents ourselves. Those who learn and perform well with us have a future perspective after their studies.
  • You will work with software that doesn't exist elsewhere. Our proprietary system, lpeOS, maps processes for which other companies still use Excel spreadsheets and paper files.

What awaits you with us – Your tasks

  • You will organize the marketing of a unit. Coordinate and attend photo appointments with our photographers, create brochures, publish and update listings. Our marketing team will support you with the brochure.
  • You will handle prospective tenants. Review and pre-qualify inquiries, schedule appointments, conduct viewings, and follow up. This includes situations where a property receives forty inquiries.
  • You will prepare tenant selection. Check documents for completeness, review credit checks, and provide your assessment of the applicants. The final decision will be made jointly.
  • You will assist with property handovers and takeovers: Prepare protocols, record meter readings, document defects, hand over keys.
  • You will maintain clean data. Every contact, every appointment, every status in the system. This may sound unexciting, but it's the foundation for ensuring that nothing gets lost here.
  • You will support the agents. Prepare appointments, compile property documents, handle correspondence, follow up with prospective tenants and service providers. You will learn much of this incidentally — by observing how an experienced agent builds a case.
  • You will take on back-office tasks.  Maintain master data, digitize and file documents, document processes. The volume of these tasks depends on the workload — we discuss this predictably each week.

What you should bring

  • You approach people openly. Conducting a viewing with eight strangers should be something you are comfortable with. You don't need to be perfect at the start.
  • You have a feel for people — or want to develop it. Tenant selection isn't just about creditworthiness, and you will learn to make this judgment with us.
  • You are well-organized. Managing multiple properties, appointments, and deadlines simultaneously: Those who lose track here also lose good tenants.
  • You work reliably. Otherwise, prospective tenants will stand in front of a locked door, which costs us more with the property owner than any mistake in a brochure.
  • You ask questions rather than guess — with clients just as much as within the team.
  • You are enrolled in a university or looking for a part-time position. Your field of study is secondary; business or real estate management interest is helpful.
  • You learn software quickly and think digitally.

You do not need prior experience in the real estate industry. We will teach you the trade.

What we offer you

  • Onboarding. You will shadow, be assigned tasks gradually, and work with someone you can ask anything from day one.
  • Tasks that will advance you. You won't be doing filing or coffee runs, but work that has meaning on your CV and that you can explain in your next job interview.
  • Perspective after graduation. Those who learn and perform well with us get a future, not just a certificate.
  • Personal development. We openly and regularly discuss where you want to develop — and we ensure you receive the tasks and support to get you there.
  • Living feedback culture. Feedback is the fastest tool we have to improve. That's why we give it immediately, not just once a year. This applies in both directions: you will receive honest feedback — and we expect it from you just as much.
  • Predictability during the semester. We coordinate lecture times and exam periods in advance, rather than making them a problem. Viewings often take place in the late afternoon anyway.
  • State-of-the-art equipment: Premium hardware, cloud-based tools, paperless.
  • E-mobility included: internal e-car sharing for appointments and private errands.
