Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Golden Source Developer to join our client's team for a long-term project based in Toronto.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Golden Source EDM (Enterprise Data Management) platform and a solid understanding of financial instruments, reference data, and data integration in capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and implement GoldenSource EDM solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain data interfaces using GoldenSource tools for data ingestion, enrichment, validation, and distribution.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to ensure high-quality data solutions.
• Customize GoldenSource components, workflows, rules, and reports as needed.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Participate in integration and testing activities with downstream systems.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation tasks.
• Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and code.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years of hands-on development in GoldenSource.
• Strong experience in GoldenSource data model, feeds configuration, rules engine, and workflow setup.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and working with Oracle or other RDBMS.
• Experience with Java or Java-based customizations within GoldenSource is a plus.
• Good understanding of financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives), reference data, and data quality management.
• Experience integrating GoldenSource with upstream and downstream systems using ETL tools, REST/SOAP APIs, or messaging systems (MQ/Kafka).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Banking domains.
• Previous experience working with Canadian financial institutions is an advantage.
