SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Within a particularly dynamic neuro-resuscitation unit, you will work in a nurse-healthcare assistant team and in close collaboration with the medical team: you will be an essential player in patient care and will be involved in numerous projects, including research.

You will develop expertise in the neuro-resuscitation monitoring of patients.

REGISTERED NURSE IN INTENSIVE CARE AND CONTINUOUS CARE UNIT – 75014 PARIS

Hours: 06:45-19:00, 18:45-07:00

Specificities related to the function: Work in a multidisciplinary team, aptitude for critical care and neuro-resuscitation specialty, good mastery of technical care

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION:

Monitoring and care of intubated and/or ventilated patients: mobilization, suctioning, oral care, tracheostomy care.
Specific monitoring of patients with neurological injuries (stroke, aneurysm, brain tumors, head injuries...), external ventricular drain, intracranial pressure, neurophysiological monitoring (EEG, neurological potentials)
Coma assessments
Preparation and assistance with the setup of intubation equipment, fibroscopy
Setup and monitoring of Optiflow, NIV, NO, dialysis, pleural drains
Preparation for central venous catheter (CVC) and arterial catheter (CVA) insertion and monitoring.
Simple dressings, urinary catheters (KT), drains, complex neurosurgery dressings.
