ICT Support Engineer
Job description
As ICT Support Engineer, you’ll report to Regional Manager. Full on the job induction and ongoing training is provided to support any successful full time applicant.
Some of your Responsibilities include:
• Assist and install new hardware and software in the work place and onsite.
• Troubleshooting and performing diagnostics solutions to repair smart devices.
• Perform complete inspection, testing and repair solutions for smart phones for replacements
and trade in.
• Providing and installing mobile and system Software Applications.
• Providing and installing Security and Surveillance Systems for different stores.
• Implementing computer networks solutions.
• Providing technical support and onsite trouble shooting strategies for both servers and work
stations.
• Attend and assist the company’s customers with their system support needs, in a timely and
professional manner.
• Deal with store level enquiries and complaints and monitor customer service.
• Maintaining and installing of new equipments such as phones, printers, Modems and
surveillance Systems.
• To build a strong relationship between the company, its customer and staff and to build
overall goodwill.
• Providing telephonic and remote support for new and existing customers.
• Check that all the products you sell are well displayed.
• Ensure that promotional plans are properly communicated to customers in the aim of soft
selling.
• Maintaining health and safety standards and procedures.
• Assist customers to choose products providing information on quality, characteristics of
products, warranties and maintenance.
• Maintain an up to date and comprehensive knowledge of products available for sale and
ensure that customers have a wide selection to choose from.
• Ensure when new stock arrives that it is of correct model, design and quality.
• Manage stock inventory to ensure that sufficient products are available and place orders with
suppliers when necessary.
This position has growth opportunities, competitive remuneration with various great monthly
performance bonuses. Remuneration is an hourly wage $35 per hour. You must be available to work on a roster basis which may include weekends, so flexibility is essential. Minimum contracted hours 35 hours per week. Location Johnsonville. Minimum qualification required for this role is a graduate diploma in technology.
