IC CAD Engineer

Job Description: Job Description: Broadcom Central Engineering is looking for a qualified individual who can provide best-in-class development and support for Analog/Mixed Signal tool flows focused on advanced FINFET process nodes. This individual will be hands-on, heavily involved in the design, development, and maintenance of IC CAD tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate should have experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys CustomSim, or other similar EDA tools. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain IC CAD tools and methodologies for advanced FINFET process nodes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize tool development needs. • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of IC CAD tools. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IC CAD tools. • Provide technical support and training to internal customers on IC CAD tools. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys CustomSim, or other similar EDA tools. • Strong understanding of analog/mixed signal design and simulation principles. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
